Eleven88 Dance is a Melbourne-based group running dance programs in local high schools where they aim to journey with the students using dance as a tool to connect with them.
I helped Eleven88 redesign their old logo, transforming it from amateurish to energetic, and featuring a custom drawn wordmark.
The client requested the use of a dancer silhouette in the background. This offers flexibility because it can be swapped around to show different dance poses and adds to the energetic feel.
My process for the Eleven88 wordmark began by creating a number of rough sketches using pencil and various brush pens. I took the best sketches and refined them on the iPad, before carefully drawing the final wordmark in Adobe Illustrator.
