Telling stories with type.

Wes Franklin is not your average graphic designer. His mastery of custom lettering gives you a unique advantage as you seek to set yourself apart and connect with your audience.

“Wes is a master at creating stylish and effective lettering, and he’s easy and quick to work with.”

Recent Work

My happy place is working on creative projects covering logo and visual identity design, custom lettering, and murals.

Interested in working together?

I’ve honed my skills over 17+ years, so you’re in safe hands.

01—Logotype Design

A custom logotype sets you apart because it is hand-crafted and truly unique. And best of all, it’s a mark that you’ll be proud of, your audience will connect with, and your competitors will envy.

02—Visual Identity Design

A custom logotype is a start, but I love helping businesses make a kick-ass first impression through a unique visual identity that tells their story and represents their values.

Businesses love murals because they can bring a space to life. And by infusing typography into my murals, I help businesses make a statement and communicate with their audience.

04—Custom Lettering & Illustration

Whether you need a spot illustration for your publication, a cover design for your best-selling book, or a custom lettering commission for your Great Aunt Mildred, I approach each project with care and attention to detail.

Meet Wes Franklin

Creative Director, Lettering Artist, Muralist.

With a career in the creative industry spanning 17+ years, Wes has had plenty of time to hone his skills and focus on what he does best.

His passion for typography—dating back to the early days of high school—has been a journey which eventually crossed paths with hand lettering some time in 2014. That fateful discovery led Wes to pursue the mastery of lettering, almost to the point of obsession.

These days, Wes offers his unusual skillset to give businesses a truly unique advantage as they seek to set themselves apart and connect with their audience.

Wes is an active member of the Typism Community, and has been featured on the Blog, Podcast, and in the last six editions of the Typism Book. You can also read about Wes in the Autumn 2022 Edition of Bendigo Magazine, and find one of his logos published in Logo Lounge Book 13.

“I was looking for a local Bendigo artist to do some artwork in our newly renovated office space, I couldn’t be happier that I found Wes. He was easy to communicate with and always responded quickly to emails. Most importantly he completely nailed the brief from concept to execution. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wes to anyone looking for a quality artist.
